According to Helena (Lena) TREGEAR(ASH), Rhoda Jane was a tearaway. She worked at the Islands vicarage as a domestic servant, Rhoda Jane maybe
had two marriages and six children by various men, Three girls Violet, Alma, & Helena Emliy, and three boys who all died soon after birth.
Violet(father unknown) was adopted by a couple named SEARLE. Marriage 1? to William John WATTS produced Alma Beatrice (Helena's mother).
Marriage 2 ? to Thomas HORNING (ships carpenter) produced Helena Emily. Rhoda lived for a while in Wales
